With spending most of our days either riding or talking to people, we needed an exercise routine. We made it a point in every campground we worked, to get out and walk all the streets, trails or whatever else we could find... EVERY day.

We would start out with a minimal breakfast, and then we would carry Slim-Fast in a little six pack cooler. We would find a park or other scenic place to stop and drink our lunch, followed by plain old water. That would keep us going until evening, when we would usually have either a salad or fix a lean meat on the grill with just a salad or veggie... no potatoes.

We managed to drop about 30 pounds in two months, despite all our sitting and "non-activity" during the day.

We also supplemented that with a mid-morning Dexa-Trim tablet that kept us from getting hungry, and drank plenty of water. Between the Dexa-Trim getting rid of excess water in our bodies, and then drinking even more, we made plenty of stops along the way, but we accomplished our goals. I went from a 36-inch waist to a 32-inch waist.

As a result, we both felt better physically than we have ever felt before or since, and I know that it's WAY past time to get back on that routine again.

Also, something that we have learned just this last year... our chiropractor told us that he read in the AMA Journal that just 4 ounces of Pomegranate juice, taken every day for two months will clean out your arteries! We have been on it ever since, and are feeling better just from that. One of our relatives, who has weighed over 300 pounds most of her adult life has started on it, and her last physical showed that her triglyceride levels have improved greatly, her blood pressure is down and her cholesterol count is under 200, for the first time in years!

The biggest detriment to people not losing weight or accomplishing better health is their own will power. Too many "don't like this" or "don't like that" (in proper foods), and aren't willing to taste something healthy for them. They won't make the time for exercise, or think they are "over-exerting" themselves if they suddenly start sweating or breathing hard, so they never get beyond the point where it will do them any good. Life is full of sacrifices, and getting out of our comfort zones is the only way to accomplish some of the goals we "need" to reach. John W. Aberthttp://blog.caravancemperrv.comnoreply@blogger.com
