I was reading a friend's, Jerry Gillies, blog this morning. Jerry is a best selling author of several books, one of them, "Money Love" made him pretty famous around the world. Jerry was released several months ago after serving a 12 year prison term in Folsom State Prison, in California. While reading one particular posting a thought inspired me. And I just toss this out for you to ponder.
The Bible says, in Romans 6:23, that "The wages of sin is death . . ." I pondered the thought as I think of where our country is (and much of the world) in this current economic collapse and came up with the concept that "The wages of instant gratification is debt." We've become a world of people who wants everything and we want it now. Instant Gratification! Well, there is always a price, we've just been putting it off and now we're in a world of debt.
Enthusiastically,
Ed
