New York City, the city where no one sleeps or so it would seem. I grew up about 12 miles from this island (Manhattan) that is one of the five boroughs making up New York City. As a kid, I spent very little time here even though it was so close. I was there, perhaps, 15 to 20 times that I can recall until I left the region at age 22. Manhattan is an exciting place to visit. There is so much to do. I’ve spent considerably more time in Manhattan since I left the region and always look forward to an opportunity to return to enjoy theater, art and, of course, the food. This photo was taken during the winter a couple years after 9/11/01.
