Photo of the Week #10 – Snowmelt in Yosemite

This is one of numerous raging waterfalls created during the snowmelt season in Yosemite National Park. This waterfall was at approximately 10,000 feet above sea level in early June, 2010. I was driving from Ontario, OR to Fresno, CA and drove through Yosemite to get from the east side (NV)  to the San Joaquin Valley on the west side of the mountains. The temperatures dropped from nearly 100 degrees in the Nevada desert to somewhere in the low 40’s at 10,000 feet. The scenery was breathtaking. The drive was awesome.

Enthusiastically,
Ed
