I’m beginning a new feature of my Living Free blog this week. I have collected thousands of photos from my travels, but I’ve seldom shared them with anyone. So, from now on, each week I’m going to post a photo from somewhere and some time during my travels.
The photos are randomly selected and I’ll revisit many locations over time. I’m selecting these photos mainly because of the memories that I have from when I took the photos and their uniqueness, at least to me. Many of these photos were taken from a moving vehicle that I was either driving or I was a passenger in. I hope you enjoy them.
Here is the first photo.
This photo was taken from a moving car I was riding in as a passenger. It is my first glimpse of Lake Tahoe. This shot was taken while we were still in Nevada. Our destination was South Lake Tahoe that is right across the border in California. The Nevada gambling casinos come right up to the California and then stop as you cross the border. It’s a beautiful setting. The photo was taken in late June of 2006 and you can see the snow on the mountain peaks even though it was officially summer.
Enthusiastically,
Ed
